Travelscapes | Altare della Patria

 In Cityscapes, Travelscapes

“Nobody sees a flower really; it is so small. We haven’t time, and to see takes time – like to have a friend takes time.”

Georgia O’Keeffe

Time flies, we are already at the start of the last month before the year ends. This photo was taken at the Altare della Patria (“Altar of the Fatherland”) overlooking the Piazza Venezia in Rome. Italy. It seems like yesterday when I was still roaming around exploring Rome during the stormy weather and experiencing the flood. When you live in the moment, every experiences seemed like they just happened not long ago.

As some of you might have known, it was here in Rome that I started my photography journey and years later it prompted me to start DLifeJourney. I knew that it was going to be hard work executing this project, I just didn’t expect it to be so hard, especially juggling with my new experience of being a father as well. Now that I look back, I realized how far I have come, I just took it a step a day and try my best. If I were to start all over today, it would seem so impossible and overwhelming. DLifeJourney is also coming to a year old, hopefully I would be able to write a review of my experiences and share it with you before the year ends.

For friends that have constantly visited my site and supported my images on the social channels, especially on G+, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It is truly the little things that matters.
