Fauna | Chimpanzee in the Moment

 In Fauna, Photography

“You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. Fools stand on their island of opportunities and look toward another land. There is no other land; there is no other life but this.”

Henry David Thoreau

I have a secret wish to be able to photograph as many fauna and flora species that I can possibly come across when I am still alive. I didn’t choose the subjects for my photography in the beginning, it just happens that at some point of my life, I was so attracted to the world of nature and its wonderful inhabitants. During the journey of chasing after as many species as I could, it seems that there is no end to the amount of different species I could find, there is always unexpected surprises at every corner. Sometimes we think that we have seen it all in life but the truth is there is so much to see in a lifetime that we couldn’t possibly cover them all. This not only applies to the flora and fauna of the world but also to the places that we have yet to see and explore. The only reason one can be bored is because one is a boring person. It is a big, big world out there and I hope to share as much as I could with you through my photography, hopefully it can inspire you to see the world differently.
