Flora | Magenta Foxgloves Bloom

 In Flora

“The artist is the confidant of nature, flowers carry on dialogues with him through the graceful bending of their stems and the harmoniously tinted nuances of their blossoms. Every flower has a cordial word which nature directs towards him.”

Auguste Rodin

Don’t these amazing flowers look like something out of this world? The scientific name Digitalis, commonly called foxgloves, means “finger-like” because of the ease of slipping the fingers into the flowers. Like most flowers, they have different species with multiple colors and shades.

It was only after I took up photography that I started to look at the world with intent. The once eluded flowers started to attract my attention followed by the trees and the fauna of the world. Once you take all these in, you start to ponder about the miracles of the world. All these creation is there for you to appreciate. The only reason you don’t take notice is because your senses were dulled—polish the wonder in you and look at the miraculous show that mother earth have created just for you.
