Misty Morning at Punggol Park Connector

 In Landscapes

This was taken at the Punggol Park Connector in Singapore near my home. It is one of my earlier works when I was just picking up photography. I love the mist in the early morning. The moment is so precious and momentary, as the first ray of sunlight will disperse the mist. After the sunrise, they are nowhere to be found. They come and go without a trace.

It is nice to look back to the earlier works, just to see how far I have come. When you are doing it everyday, it is easy to lose track of the progression. There is no such thing as pure perfection, but every practice brings it just a little closer. It is similar to seeing our loved ones everyday, it is easy to forget how far we have come. When we look back to the beginning of each relationship, every little bit we give adds up to this amazing energy that bonds us together.

It’s a healthy perspective to look at ourselves and our talents for reassurance that we can continue to learn and grow, and they we have indeed grown from where we once began! This image shows us that you saw immense beauty in your world and wanted to capture the moment. It’s really quite lovely.
