I am not really a big fan of shopping malls, but what to do when you have a wife and kid? Instead of looking at the shops, I am more interested in the decor. The Venus Fort in Odaiba Tokyo sure is one unique mall.

Venus Fort is designed to resemble a medieval European village. One thing that I really noticed is how you lose track of time when you are inside. It seems to have its own time zone because of the interior lighting and no windows leading to the outside.

Time is truly an illusion, it is base on what our eyes see. When we turn around and go within, there is a place that is timeless. It is there where we seek solace and find real peace.
