“The significance of the cherry blossom tree in Japanese culture goes back hundreds of years. In their country, the cherry blossom represents the fragility and the beauty of life. It’s a reminder that life is almost overwhelmingly beautiful but that it is also tragically short.”

Homaro Cantu

Today I am introducing a new series of posts that is basically about just letting the picture tell the story. I call it the Photographic Series. As some of the longer post requires a longer interval to publish, I thought it might be more valuable to readers of DLJ to enjoy more photo content in the form of these short posts which can be published much quicker. This will allow the content of the site to grow faster and for you to enjoy more of my photographic works. Hope you like the new changes to more photography updates and thank you so much to all of you for supporting the growth of DLJ.

Enjoy.

This was taken one beautiful morning during the Sakura bloom season at the Osaka Castle Park. No matter how many times I see the cherry blossoms, it never fails to instill awe and wonder in me.
